A supper club community exploring literary and social justice conversations around food.

My childhood was filled with this beautiful chaos of love that surrounds food rituals in India. When I moved to the US for my graduate school, the first thing I noticed was the lack of that. And that’s what I feel like I try to recreate all the time, whether it’s my writing, my food or the way I build community. So now I am excited to give a new direction to my life and love for food and conversations surrounding it with the Khabaar Supper Club.

August 20th at Barrio Logan, 6-8:30 pm. @khabaarco Conversations with Changemakers is going to be an exciting conversation with @primattoo about her memoir Bird Milk and Mosquito Bones, food, life, parents, children and where we belong.
